Beach Reads

Hi everyone - thanks for visiting my blog! This is something I've wanted to do for a while, and I finally took the plunge.

Nothing makes me happier than recommending a book to a friend and hearing they loved it as much as I did; hopefully this will make it easier to do that by having all my favorites in one place.

I've also included a section about audiobooks for those who have become as obsessed with them as I have in recent years. What's better than having a great narrator read to you while you're on a road trip or just running errands?

The "Events" page will primarily be for book events in the NYC/NJ/CT/LI area, but eventually I'd like to expand that to include other areas.

This site is still a work in progress, as I learn to navigate my way around, so please be patient. Until I can get this all figured out (and I'm open to any suggestions!) Not all of these are "light" beach reads, but they are engaging stories that will keep your attention.

Those who know me are probably wondering why THE NIGHTINGALE isn't on this list; it certainly could be, but I know I will end up giving this its own post sometime soon, so I'm saving it.

Over the weekend I'll be working on a post wrapping up the Random House Open House I attended yesterday; I'm still processing everything I heard and saw and it needs more time than I have right now.
